PALAIS GARNIER
OPERA LIBRARY-MUSEUM (BnF)

OCTOBER 27, 2026 – FEBRUARY 20, 2027

To coïncide with the new production of Wagner’s Ring cycle at the Opéra Bastille and the RING Festival taking place in November 2026, the Paris Opera, in partnership with the Bibliothèque nationale de France, presents the exhibition RICHARD WAGNER – THE RING REVOLUTIONS

The exhibition explores the genesis of this four-part cycle, the musical revolution brought about Richard Wagner, the challenges of staging it, and its enduring influence on the art world. It offers an immersive journey behind the scenes of this monumental operatic universe, which has profoundly shaped the history of music and transformed the way opera is conceived.
